The Lounge Sweater has a delicate braided structure and a double neckband, with a straight, slightly oversized fit. The sweater is worked top down: the back is worked flat with increases for the shoulders, then the armhole is shaped. The front is worked separately for the neck opening, before the pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round.

How it is knitted
The back is worked flat with increases to shape the shoulders, then the armhole is shaped.
The front is picked up at the shoulders and worked separately to shape the neck opening, before the pieces are joined.
The back and front are joined, and the body is worked in the round to the desired length.
The sleeves are picked up around the armhole. The neckband is worked down for a double edge.

Come si lavora
Inizialmente si lavora in piano il dietro della maglia procedendo con degli aumenti per modellare le spalle e, successivamente, il giromanica.
Il davanti si lavora inizialmente riprendendo delle maglie e lavorando le spalle separatamente con degli aumenti per modellare l’apertura del collo. Successivamente si uniscono e si eseguono degli aumenti per modellare il giromanica.
Si uniscono il davanti ed il dietro e si lavorano insieme in tondo.
Le maniche sono lavorate riprendendo le maglie intorno al giromanica. Infine, bisogna riprendere le maglie per lavorare il collo.
